The Kromdraai Gold Mine situated in the Cradle of Humankind area was one of the first gold mines on the Witwatersrand (the Johannesburg area today) and is situated in an unspoilt rural setting about 40 minutes drive from O.R.Tambo International airport and 20 minutes from Johannesburg city.
